With over two decades immersed in the world of art, Vibha Singh approaches her craft as a seamless integration of intellect, subconscious, and technical skill. Holding an M.A. in Political Science and Drawing and Painting from Banasthali Vidhyapeeth University of Rajasthan, Vibha's work is a canvas for her to channel both her boundless creativity and profound spirituality. The act of translating her thoughts onto canvas is, for her, a spiritually uplifting journey, from conceptualizing symbols and colors to crafting intricate abstracts, semi-abstracts, and series such as 'Raga', 'Ganesha', 'Shiva', 'Buddha', ‘Grid, and her latest contemporary 'Pichwai' series.
Her contemporary Pichwai paintings, a modern reinterpretation of the traditional 'Pichwai' style, stand out with meticulous attention to detail. Each symbol, from the iconic face of Shreenathji to the devotional cows and architectural elements of haveli Nathdwara, is individually painted, reflecting her reverence for tradition and deep spiritual connection.
Vibha has showcased her works in over 25 solo exhibitions at esteemed venues like AIFACS, Lalit Kala Akademi, INGCA, Triveni Kala Sangam, India Habitat Centre Delhi, Nehru Centre Mumbai, and Goa Art Fair. She has also been an active participant in group exhibitions at Lalit Kala Akademi, IGNCA, Visual Art Gallery IHC, and State Gallery of Fine Arts Hyderabad.
In addition to her exhibitions, Vibha attended various art camps, including the Senior Artist Camp in New Delhi, Sahitya Kala Parishad Camp in 2007, and the Confluence -The National Art Camp in collaboration with the National Museum and Hastkala Academy in November 2022, Artist Camp at Modern Art Gallery, New Delhi. Her 'Pichwai Paintings' were notably selected by the All India Fine Art & Craft Society for the 16th All India Traditional Art Exhibition in October 2022.
Vibha's artwork graces the collections of prominent hotels, MNCs, and art enthusiasts in India and abroad.
