Suvigya Sharma, born and brought up in a family of artists, grasped a handful of artistic instincts from his father Mr. RK Sharma who is also an artist. He comes from a long line of Nathdwara Painters.
I was very fascinated by the colours around me as a child. So never planned anything like of being an artist, it just came along as I grew up.
I’ve been lucky being born & brought up in Jaipur, the Rajputana (Rajasthan), it has truly been the inspiration behind me, being an artist. It kept me close to the fragrance of tradition.
For me Painting is “Meditation” it soothes me to the core, relaxes my mind & soul. Miniature art, an Indian heritage has lost its traditional value and is gradually being replaced by contemporary art. I want to keep miniature art form alive through my works.
Suvigya also specialises in Fresco wall paintings, pure Sterling Silver, Sandalwood & makrana Marble temples, industrial and celebrity gifts & designing related work. This multi-tasking gentleman has traveled across the world and has captured the attention of art lovers in London and Sussex, England, where he organised his painting exhibition & workshops. Meanwhile, he has displayed his work in all the metropolitans’ cities. According to him, all this recognition gives him motivation and strength to work harder to achieve more.
