The artist studied Tibetan Thangka painting for six years in Dharamsala. He did his diploma in painting from College of Art, Chandigarh. Sidharth acquired the skill of glass blowing from Oreforsh, Sweden. He gained knowledge of the techniques of madhubani paintings & Kashmir papermache crafts from master craftspersons. Sidharth has studied in detail mineral & vegetable pigments and their use in paintings.The artist received awards from Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi thrice, Himachal Shimla Annual Exhibition of Art; Residencies in UK, Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal. His works find place with significant collectors’ worldwide.A writer too, he has written a book titled ‘Neti Neti’. ‘A Painter Sidharth in Search of Colours’ is a film documented on him.Sidharth’s works have been displayed in significant National & International Art Fairs. To mention a few, San Francisco Art Fair, 2011; Shanghai International Art Fair, 2011; India Art Fair, 2008, 2010, 2011.
