The artist passed his formal education in art and went on to organize camps and exhibitions in his native state when there were no such facilities available in Hyderabad. An impressionist, he captures the heavenliness of the native landscapes in various hues. The national exhibitions of the 70s and 80s made Surya Prakash a well known name in the Indian art scene and he has exhibited all over the world in group and solo shows with works in major galleries and collections.
